On September 28th, Amazon Watch released an exciting new report: From Well to Wheel: The Social, Environmental and Climate Costs of Amazon Crude.
This first-of-its-kind report is a new and important part of the growing global Keep It In The Ground movement to break free of fossil fuels. Already, the momentum to End Amazon Crude is growing:
Today AJ+ released a short video about the findings of our report and it already has over 144,000 views!
The Guardian and Fusion published articles about the report immediately and larger news organizations have reached out to us as they begin their own in-depth investigations of Amazon crude. Other news outlets are creating even more videos with our footage to spread the word.
Our allies, the largest environmental organizations in the nation that are leading efforts to fight big oil and end the fossil fuel age for the sake of our environment and our climate, quickly amplified the call to #EndAmazonCrude.
With your help and theirs we will end destructive oil extraction in the Amazon. Our climate can’t afford it and the indigenous communities fighting to save their homes and cultures need us to unite behind them today.
Check out these tweets from our allies; retweet them, and us, and help End Amazon Crude!
